This set was the first Lino cuts I entered into an art show. Apparently when being hung they were discussed, being totally different to anything else on display, but it didn’t sell.
In entering I took a bit of a ‘brave pill’ to do something different and I had very little work at the time to actually display, having been to printmaking class for just a couple of months. I reasoned that if I was to do printmaking seriously then I should be prepared to display my work, however good or bad it may be.
Now they hang in my study / studio of a reminder of this first step.
