I discovered that the hibiscus is quite difficult to do as a Lino print with its variegated petals. When I saw and photographed the flower it was a windy afternoon and I thought to try c and build it into the background chatter. It feels a bit heavy, and painting and have the black ink run a little does not help.

Did this on vinyl rather than Lino. Different cutting experience but smoother lines. For fun I then ran it through an app on my old iPhone. Added colour. Certainly quicker than getting the paintbrush
