
Firewheel flowers are hard to draw, as they are often high in the tree and hard to see. But this one was low, so I had a go doing a Lino cut.
The print at the top I ran through an iPhone app to give it a painted, glazed look. I think it looks a little better than the original, below.

Then I found another version of it,,which is the print I have at home. It is truer to the original colour.

So I ran it through the app also and it came out like this
