“Ascending high above the ground, the curve of the distant horizon becomes apparent. Horizontal lines take on a curve, especially with a wide angle lens! Ascend at different times and in different atmospheric conditions the colours of the landscape alter. The one constant is the blue of the sky and the curvature of the Earth.”
