I sail at Northbridge.
When the land was first opened up for housing a century or more ago a suspension bridge was built across a deep valley, later reconstructed as a concrete arch. There is no water underneath anymore, just a park with a sporting field.
It occurred to me that a bridge over a sailing boat may make an interesting composition and while a vector art design may have come out cleaner that is not my forte. So I persisted with Lino and this is the result.
The design was used as a wine label some months later for a fund raising event. It was definitely distinctive printed on a glossy vinyl backing.
