A change from flowers, butterflies have a nice symmetry. This is modelled on a Monarch butterfly not intended to be true to life.
Once designed and cut into the Lino I had to decide on the background. Leave it black, cut out all except my usual black border, or do something else.
I chose something else, it seems quite effective in giving the image some movement.
