This bears no relationship to the inspiration, a simple drawing of two hills in muted greys.
Done in print class with a limited range of Akua colours to choose from - and not the yellows I was planning to use - it turned out well and is now hung at home.
Part of my “jigsaw” series, where I make the design, cut a groove, and then separate the pieces roughly so they don’t line up perfectly.
Inked separately, they are assembled together on the press, and printed.
There is a passing resemblance to a digital piece I did, 0248 - Desert Dreaming, which is on my other site dbwords.quotion.co
After printing someone in class said it looked like the Kimberley coast (of northern Australia), so that became the title as I could not see it any other way after that.
