EVERYDAY DIGITAL ART
Lino. Photography. An archive of images.
I’m exploring my creative side after a career with numbers, creating colourful digital images through various media.
Use the post and homepage #hashtags to filter by media, theme or colour - or just explore randomly.
Lino prints are hand coloured and then digitally enhanced for colour balance.
Photography is straight out of camera.
There is a smattering of other media. Etching includes drypoint and tetra pack work, and together with ink works are similarly hand coloured before being photographed.
I’m calling this Everyday Art because I don’t pretend otherwise.
To each image I have added context notes, creating a history of my work. Naming has year and month to give an approximate timeline to the work, so I (and you) can see how it has developed over time. The good and the bad (well, there are gaps in the sequence so not the truly awful!) are all included.
My digital art (and stories) has been moved to dbwords.quotion.co
I’m not on social media yet.

My notes say that this was a quick Lino cut done in class (yes, I am still learning) intended to be coloured - sometimes they may be a black and white print and then I colour them, but more recently

Continuing my flower designs, I left the flowers uncoloured and let the white paper show through. Then I printed it again and painted it red. Which is better? #lino #flower #white #red Merchandise:

Why go out into the cold night air to photograph flowers? A visit to the local fruit market brought a handful of subjects home. The same technique as for my night garden compositions, but done in th

I am rarely politically opinionated, but this statement accidentally fell into place. I started off doing an abstract design, based on something I sketched in my notebook. Just some horizontal lines
