EVERYDAY DIGITAL ART
Lino. Photography. An archive of images.
I’m exploring my creative side after a career with numbers, creating colourful digital images through various media.
Use the post and homepage #hashtags to filter by media, theme or colour - or just explore randomly.
Lino prints are hand coloured and then digitally enhanced for colour balance.
Photography is straight out of camera.
There is a smattering of other media. Etching includes drypoint and tetra pack work, and together with ink works are similarly hand coloured before being photographed.
I’m calling this Everyday Art because I don’t pretend otherwise.
To each image I have added context notes, creating a history of my work. Naming has year and month to give an approximate timeline to the work, so I (and you) can see how it has developed over time. The good and the bad (well, there are gaps in the sequence so not the truly awful!) are all included.
My digital art (and stories) has been moved to dbwords.quotion.co
I’m not on social media yet.

If agapanthus appear often in this archive it’s because all the neighbours grow them along their front fences. And they are photogenic. Technique: #photo Theme: #flower Highlight colour: #purple Seri

We have a lot of Clivea in the garden, they make an excellent ground cover even if they are inclined to spread and get out of control. The ones in the garden are very orange, but have come out with f

Back in 2007 I started playing with ink doodles that I scanned, printed and coloured. (See 0060 for another example.) While I catalogued them at the time I rediscovered this one in a frame that wasn’

Back in 1998 (it seems like a long time ago) I had an urge to paint that disappeared when life got too busy. Long story short I rediscovered some of my acrylic work when tidying up the roof space rec
